“ Trance Music is not for the masses, It is just for your mind”
Jerzy Gronostalski, aka DJ TranceIsland, was born and raised in Southern Poland. Starting at thirteen years old, he DJ-ed school dances.

At twenty-one he emigrated to California's Bay Area and his career path took him in the direction of technology and computers. While there, he also performed as a mobile DJ for weddings and parties. At that time he mainly played Modern Rock and New Age.

His love of nineties music transformed into Electronic Dance Music by 1995.
After taking a break, he return in 2002 performing for youth dances and playing some the top 40 mixed with House and Trance music. 

After a couple of years, however, the drive toward Trance music became too strong and Jerzy migrated to playing Progressive Trance and Balearic music exclusively.

He resides now in the Cascade Mountains, Seattle, Washington, USA
